Copywriter, Wordplay Creative Copy & Campaigns
Cam Davis began his career as a copywriter in Southern California, winning countless awards at three different agencies. In 1991, he and his wife moved to Bend where he continued his amazing feats of verbal blandishment at a local agency for 11 years. In 2002, he started his own company known as Wordplay Creative Copy & Campaigns and found time to serve as a Board member for the Ad Federation of Central Oregon and as co-originator of a successful Web, Creative & Marketing Conference (Bend WebCAM), now known as Swivel. When not writing pithy ad copy, you’re likely to find him exploring Cascade trails on foot, bike, skis or snowshoes.
Marketing Director, HYDAWAY
Chris is a marketing professional with a proven background in agency and client-side marketing disciplines. His experience ranges from marketing and communications management, product positioning, brand and identity development, copywriting, account strategy, business development and agency operations. Chris moved to Bend in Aug ’15 as a partner with TMBR creative agency to start a satellite office and recently joined HYDAWAY as the Marketing Director for a fun and growing water bottle startup.
Founder & Strategist, BrNSN
Justin Bronson is the Founder & Strategist at BrNSN, a local strategic consultation firm. They guide brands through the process of deeper self discovery, inspiring the creation of more authentic brand stories. “At BrNSN, we believe that branding is more anthropological than most would like to admit. People desire authentic human connection, the kind that moves and inspires. The brands we work with have powerful stories that can create this kind of connection. To be able to have impact with the people they exist for, we guide our brands in how to better speak into the lives of their people with clear, consistent value.”
Owner, Shannon Lee Strategy
Shannon Hinderberger is a social media and digital marketing strategist at Shannon Lee Strategy, a social media, and digital marketing consulting and coaching agency with 20 years of experience working in the online marketing industry. She moved to Bend from Omaha, Nebraska in 2004 and led digital marketing efforts for Bend Memorial Clinic and Riverhouse on the Deschutes. She’s was awarded Accomplished 40 under 40 and was part of the Swivel Creative + Marketing Conference team from 2011 – 2017. At Shannon Lee Strategy, she focuses on creating a compelling content strategy for social and digital amplification, as well as social media and digital marketing coaching for those who want to DIY their online presence.
Stephanie Spalding Bilbrey
Housing Marketing & Summer Conference Coordinator, CO Community College
Stephanie Spalding Bilbrey is a marketing enthusiast with 10 years of communications, promotions and event planning experience. As a Kentucky girl, she believes in the power of Southern hospitality and currently applies it in marketing and sales for the Central Oregon Community College residence hall. Stephanie’s previous and current committee/board involvement includes AdFed of Central Oregon, Swivel Conference and City Club of Central Oregon marketing committee. She jumped at the chance to support OIM, to continue building a thriving community of marketers, creatives, entrepreneurs, developers and generally curious folk in and around Bend. Generally brimming with snarky sunshine, Stephanie likes to imbibe the darker side to keep things balanced including Porters, red wines and true Kentucky bourbon.
Brand Strategist and Owner, GB2
Georell Bracelin has often been called a client’s best friend. A long-time Central Oregonian, she is the owner and strategist behind Gb2, a creative agency headquartered in Bend. Over the years, she’s worked as a fashion copywriter, a project manager, a co-creative director, a PR consultant, brand manager of a large snowboard company and founder of several small businesses. Currently, she counts on all these years of experience to help her put together irresistible marketing strategies and campaigns for her clients. In her spare time, she’s a serial connector with a heart for new opportunities a love for community involvement
Linda Orcelletto is a champion for non-profits and is a community connector. She moved from Wisconsin to Bend with her husband in 1996 and pretty much considers herself a native Oregonian. As former executive director for AdFed of Central Oregon and volunteer with too many nonprofit organizations to list, she has an extensive background in communications, event planning and friend/fundraising. Beneath her positive and sparkling personality, is her serious side as a database geek, detail diva and chronic list maker. When not pounding the keyboard, her happy place is sitting out by a campfire and gazing at the stars while sipping a Northwest IPA.
Brenda Speirs is the Queen Bee at Buzztag: a promotional marketing company focused on creating mad passion for your brand. Buzztag doesn’t just slap logos on products and hope they don’t end up in a junk drawer. They create products AND experiences that make your crowd happy. What’s more, whether it’s companies with swag or people in her community, Brenda is a connector. A perennial optimist, she sees the world as a place where greatness is always possible and life, like good food, is to be thoroughly enjoyed. When she’s not at Buzztag, you can find the Queen Bee riding her Harley, exploring her latest artistic fascinations, and spending time with her family.
Owner, Red Bee Press
Debbie Agnew grew up in the Portland area and lived there until 2005 when she and her children moved to Bend. She is happily married and has a blended family with five wonderful adult children. She has been in the advertising industry in Central Oregon since 2006 and started Red Bee Press in 2012. She is passionate about helping her clients craft ads that generate results. When not working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
